Tributes Paid To Serving Police Dog Who Passed Away Following A Sudden Illness

Tributes from the emergency services community have been paid to police dog ‘Ottoh’, who has sadly passed away today, Tuesday 2nd June, following a short illness.

PD ‘Ottoh’ served with Mersey Police Dogs as a general-purpose and firearms support dog.

A spokesperson for Mersey Police Dogs confirmed that Ottoh passed away peacefully with his handler and family by his side.

The spokesperson added that PD Ottoh was a ‘credit to his handler and to Merseyside Police. RIP Ottoh, thank you for your service’.
