A motorcyclist has had his driving licence endorsed with six penalty points after being found guilty of speeding.
The rider was clocked at 55mph in a 30 zone.
In an image shared by Merseyside Roads Policing Unit, the rider can be seen trying to cover his number plate with his left hand.
But it was too late, as the speed enforcement device had already captured the vehicle’s registration mark in full.
He was found guilty of speeding offences and was subsequently given 6 points.
Another rider, who was caught travelling at 102 mph in a 40 mph zone, was banned from the roads.
