Officers from the Met’s Surbiton Safer Neighbourhood Team (Kingston) accompanied by a police dog have found 43 wraps of class ‘A’ drugs on a 14-year-old male.
When the male initially saw officers as they patrolled the Cambridge Estate, he ran away, but he was detained after a short foot chase.

As well as the 43 wraps of drugs, officers also found what they described as a ‘wedge of cash’ on the boy.
The male was arrested at the scene and was taken into police custody.

A spokesperson for Kingston Police said:
‘All the relevant appropriate agencies have been flagged so this youngster can get some assistance with his future while the investigation continues.’
