Police Dog ‘Logan’ Convinces Domestic Assault Suspect To Come Quietly

The sight of police dog ‘Logan’ was enough to convince a suspect – who was wanted in connection with a serious assault on their partner – to give up without incident.

The police dog unit from Chester & North Wales Police was assigned to the incident after officers became aware that the suspect was hiding a friends address.

Police had been looking for the male after reports that he had ‘seriously assaulted’ his partner.

When PD ‘Logan’ and his handler turned up at the address where is was believed that the male was hiding, the suspect decided to give himself up to officers without further incident.

A spokesperson for CHNW Police Dogs tweeted:

‘Imagine you’re wanted for a serious assault on your partner, you’re hiding up in a friends house.

‘You look out the window to see Logan singing his ‘I’m gonna bite you if you run’ song. You think, “Is today the day I want to get bitten?” He came out with his hands up. Job done!’
