A general-purpose dog unit, attached to Leicestershire Polices’ Special Operations, responded to a 999 call regarding reports of two males breaking into someone’s property.
After responding to the call, Police Dog ‘Bo’ and her handler managed to find a vehicle leaving the area.
The dog unit indicated for the vehicle to stop, which it did without incident.
As PD Bo kept a watchful eye on the suspects, her handler searched the vehicle and found a large knife.
Also found in the vehicle were items that officers believe were being used in the supply of drugs.
Thanks to Bo’s watchful eyes, the suspects did not try and make a run for it. Two males were arrested and taken into custody.
