Motorist Clocked By Roads Police Driving At 124 mph In 50 mph Zone

After being clocked whilst driving at 124 mph in a 50 mph zone, a motorist has been reported to the courts. 

Sussex Roads Police officers spent some time enforcing the 50 mph limit on a stretch of the A27 in Chichester yesterday evening (25th March). 

Roads Policing Units around the country, when not responding to 999 calls, proactively target motorists who contribute fall foul of what has been called the ‘fatal 5’.

The fatal 5 comprises of; careless driving, drink and drug driving, not wearing a seatbelt, using a mobile phone and speeding. 

Having been detected at driving at nearly three times the posted speed limit, the driver now undoubtedly faces being banned from driving.

  1. I trust this driver will be on public transport for at least 2 years. We all need protecting from idiots like this.
