Male Arrested After Picking His Mate Up From Police Station In Stolen Car

A male has been arrested by officers from Kent Police Roads Policing Unit after he drove to the police station to pick his friend up in a stolen car.

What made matters worse was the fact that his mate had been arrested for, you guessed, fleeing from the police in a stolen car.

On 5th January, RPU officers pursued a stolen Ford through Maidstone, Kent.

The pursuit ended when officers deployed a stinger on the stolen vehicle, which successfully deflated the bandit vehicles’ tyres.

After the suspect thief was dealt with, he arranged for his mate to come and pick him up from the police station.

The only problem was that his mate decided to drive yet another stolen car to pick his friend up.

Officers rang the vehicles registration mark through the Police National Computer and probably were not surprised to find that the car had been nicked.
