Derbyshire Police managed to intercept an illicit delivery to Sudbury Prison over the weekend after they spotted a parked car outside of the location.

As officers went to investigate, the car’s two male occupants legged it across some open fields.
As they tried to get into another vehicle, the officers caught up with them, and they were detained without further incident.

When officers went back to search the car that had been spotted outside of the prison, they found a large holdall that contained alcohol, cannabis, tobacco and food.
Both males were arrested.

Good job the boys in blue!
