Cops Find Machete On 15-Year-Old Boy During Stop And Search In East London

The Met’s elite Territorial Support Group (TSG) sprang into action last night whilst on patrol in Hackney and Tower Hamlets.

After trying to speak to a 15-year-old male who was on a pedal bike, the male attempted to ride off but was quickly detained by the specialist public order unit.

After a quick search of the boy, it became clear why he had tried to get away from them; he was found to have a serrated machete concealed in his waistband.

Yet again, incidents such as this one highlight how vital stop and search is concerning the fight against knife crime.

After removing the weapon from the boy’s waistband, officers took him into custody, and the weapon was seized as evidence.

  1. Let me take a wild stab in the dark (pun intended!)…this “boy” was black…one of the community most involved with shootings and stabbings, yet one that Teresa May, Sadiq Khan, and other equally stupid people, had attempted to shield from stop and search?

    1. Of course. In the wilder days in the docks the wharfies carried casehooks [lethal in a fight] and we carried seamens knives but fists and feet were our weapons.
