40 Firefighters Tackle Pub Fire On Dartmouth Road, Forest Hill

Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters from the London Fire Brigade (LFB) have been called to a pub fire on Dartmouth Road in Forest Hill.

Most of the first floor of the pub is alight. Three people left the building before the Brigade arrived and are being treated on scene by London Ambulance Service (LAS) crews.

Road closures are in place whilst crews work to make the scene safe. The LFB has asked people to avoid the local area.

The Brigade was called at 0852.

Fire crews from Forest Hill, Lewisham and Beckenham fire stations are at the scene.

The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
